2023 Spring Meeting at MCL restaurant, Columbus, Ohio.

TheAnnual Meeting of the Society of the War of 1812 in the State of Ohio will be held this Saturday, April 15, 2023 at the MCL Restaurant and Bakery in the Upper Arlington neighborhood of Columbus.  We will gather for lunch beginning when the restaurant opens at 11am and the meeting will begin at 12 noonDuring the meeting, we have two special guests, Bill Diehl and David Birthelmer, that will be speaking to us about a cemetery they have been working to restore and clean up.  There are reportedly several War of 1812 veterans buried at this cemetery.  They would like to partner with our group to plan and conduct a dedication ceremony at the cleaned up cemetery.
